Dr Ivor Roberts

Dr Ivor Roberts is an amateur  photographer. As a geologist, he appreciates the science of the Earth and the benefits and positive legacies that geology has left on the inhabitants of the world.

Married with three children, he has had the opportunity to have family holidays visiting overseas countries. 

The pictures

He has a bias to take pictures of people, and this reflects his interest in street photography. 

It is the images of people that reflect a country's social environment, it is the built environment that reflects a country's recent past and it is the geological landscape of a country that reflects its ancient past that has guided its economic development.
